Crystal Kay Announces Label Transfer + New Single!!

Fans have griped about the lack of promotion for singer-songwriter Crystal Kay’s work for years now, and it would appear that CK has listened. She has decided to leave Epic Records and has signed with Universal Music Japan’s label, Delicious Deli Records! To coincide with the transfer, Crystal plans to debut her new single on December 7th!

Crystal expressed her excitement: “Finally, my first single release after the transfer has been decided. I’m nervous, but I’m filled with excitement! I want to create GOOD MUSIC utilizing my heart, body, and voice to the fullest. Everyone, please continue to support me!”

ugh, this makes me so happy i can’t even stand it. sony has been playing kuri for years now, underpromoting her quality, bomb ass music even though it’s better than the majority of the drivel out there. even though “delicious deli records” sounds bootleg as a motherfucker, i can’t help but have high hopes. and this is the longest i’ve gone without a new single since i’ve been following her so, let’s just say my body is ready. i’m going to nippon next month and i would murder to see my baby girl live and fabulous and wonderful… with a single coming out in december, i feel like my chances are pretty good!
